Update march 02 2026 Andeli reached out out to me and offered to refund or replace helmet i opted to replace helmet i just received new unit and it works fine. updating my review to 5 stars as there customer service was very good. i was pleasantly surprise by their service. so i would recommend based on customer service.purchased october 7 2025 had for about 5 months i use it very little i am a hobbyist the auto darking stopped working and only stays dark it does not lighten. i have replaced batteries with good duracell batteries multiple times and that does not help. very disappointing performance. Inow have a constant dark welding helmet buyer beware

Nice helmet works great if you were glasses fits snuggle on head

Very user friendly and comfortable.It comes with an extra clear shield so when you eventually scratch and or burn the one that's on it you have a replacement.Storage bag could be a little better quality, it feels really cheap.

I love this helmet. It's probably the best helmet I've used, even with the few issues I have with it. The adjustable strap comes undone from time to time and the battery doesn't make a very good connection so every so often I have to tap on the side of the helmet to sort that out. But the hand motion activated light is awesome, the viewing windows on the sides of the auto dimming viewer are really nice, the dimmer offers higher levels of protection than most masks, and it seems to be pretty durable.

The good… this works very well. It has some nice features to it. I use a 25 plus year old Speed glass helmet I bought when auto tint helmets first came out. This new helmet is large so plenty of room to wear your glasses under it not so with my old one. It is a bit heavy that makes sense due to the larger viewing window. I am used to head flip to view my work and start a new pass. Not necessary with the new one because it is so clear there is no need to raise the helmet. The darkness setting and the delay work nicely and it is nice they are on the outside to adjust as you are welding. There is no power on /off button so I am concerned about battery life but that we will find out later. So the good is great! The different is a little weight when lifting the hood but is unnecessary to do. The field of view is fantastic the clarity is amazing. All things considered it is a good choice for your welder I would recommend this helmet.

Quite a good helmet. I've been using a Miller Speedglass helmet for quite some time. It never really worked like it should have. I lightened up the lens to the brightest it would go, but it was still extremely dark and I was not able to see how my weld was flowing, so the quality was really not up to what it needed to be. With this new helmet I am able to brighten up the view when I'm welding. Now less time is spent redoing bad welds and I am getting a lot more work done. The Miller helmet was 4 times what I paid for this helmet. Great product at a reasonable price +++++

No complaints about the actual helmet so far. Everything works well. I would say a good value for the money, which is NOT to say this is a high quality helmet. The instructions provided are worse than useless.
